What is Org Scope?
OrgScope is a no-cost, student-led initiative focused on improving the online presence of GTA businesses. It offers deliverables on websites, SEO support and marketing materials.
Volunteering is set to open around mid-September. Each one is to be trained and vetted before taking on any real client work. Every task runs through a review-based process, designed so businesses never hand over sensitive or personal information.
Our mission
We strive to give local businesses support for a digital and online portfolio that they otherwise couldn't afford. While simultaneously giving youth resume-worthy client experience.
OrgScope is starting by filling in the highest-impact gaps that businesses currently face: lack of a website, SEO, flyers/posters, and social media graphics. The program plans to expand into web apps and more advanced marketing support as the volunteer base grows.
Where we work.
OrgScope’s volunteer base is mainly found in and around Lawrence and Kennedy, usually drawn in from nearby schools. This does not mean that it is limited to these areas; youth from Toronto are all eligible to apply. OrgScope takes on businesses' requests across Scarborough, including neighbourhoods like Wexford Heights, Golden Mile, and Cedarbrae, as well as North York and the wider Greater Toronto Area.
